PetPulse
Internal testing terms
Invited testers only · Effective 7 September 2026
1. Scope of this internal test
These terms apply only to adults specifically invited to test the PetPulse Android app through Google Play internal testing. PetPulse and Battlement Software are operated by Sam Kelly in England and Wales; Battlement Software is not currently a registered company or a separate legal entity.
The candidate is unfinished and is supplied for controlled evaluation, fault finding and licence-test purchase verification. It is not a public release or a public offer to supply a paid service. Do not invite another person, use a non-approved account or rely on the candidate for urgent or safety-critical care.
2. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 18, use the invited PetPulse and Google Play test accounts, provide accurate test-account information and protect your password. Do not share a password, receipt, purchase token, provider credential or private household record with support.
Tell us promptly if you suspect account misuse or discover access to information that should not be visible to you. Stop testing that area until we confirm it is safe to continue.
3. Households and roles
PetPulse is designed for shared pet care. A household owner controls membership, ownership and roles. Depending on role, a member may view shared information, log everyday care, manage pets, routines and health records, create reports or control billing.
Household access is separate from store ownership. A test purchase does not make someone a household owner or expand their care permissions. Only use synthetic or non-sensitive test data unless a specific test genuinely requires otherwise.
4. Plans, trial and test purchases
The current internal candidate is configured to display a monthly plan at £2.49 per month and an annual plan at £19.99 per year. The annual plan includes a seven-day free trial only when Google Play returns that offer as eligible for the signed-in test account. The monthly plan has no trial. The app shows the applicable price, billing period, renewal wording and trial before checkout.
Use only Google Play’s licence-test payment method. Before confirming, the Google Play sheet must clearly identify the transaction as a test purchase and show that no real charge will be made. If it does not, cancel immediately. Battlement does not authorise an internal tester to complete a real-money purchase.
Google Play’s displayed checkout terms control the simulated transaction. An eligible trial is expected to convert to the annual plan unless the test subscription is cancelled within Google Play. PetPulse Pro is activated for the selected household only after server verification; an on-device success message alone does not grant access.
5. Cancellation, restore and account deletion
Use Manage subscription in PetPulse Pro or the Google Play subscriptions centre to manage a test subscription. Cancelling normally stops a future renewal while verified access can continue to the paid-through test time. Test subscriptions run on Google’s accelerated licence-test schedule.
Use Restore purchases only with the PetPulse account and Google Play account that own the test purchase and while authorised to fund the intended household. Restore does not silently transfer a purchase between PetPulse users or households. Do not start another checkout while a purchase or restore is pending or ambiguous.
Deleting the app or PetPulse account does not cancel Google Play billing. Renewable, resumable, pending or unverified billing can block account deletion until resolved. See the PetPulse account-deletion page.
6. Your content and exports
You retain the rights you have in information and files you add. You permit PetPulse to host, process, copy and display that content only as needed to operate, secure and support the internal test and make it available to authorised household members.
Do not upload unlawful material, malware, content you do not have permission to use or unnecessary information about another person. Check exports and reports before sharing them. Once a file leaves PetPulse, the recipient can copy or forward it and PetPulse cannot revoke it.
7. Pet-care and health information
PetPulse is a coordination and record-keeping tool. It does not diagnose, prescribe, monitor an animal in real time or replace a veterinary professional. Records, reminders, insights and reports can be incomplete, delayed, entered incorrectly or unavailable. Verify important medication and care instructions independently.
For urgent concerns, contact an appropriate veterinary professional or emergency service. Do not wait for a PetPulse notification.
8. Acceptable testing
Do not access a household without permission; probe or bypass authentication, billing or role controls; interfere with the service; upload malicious code; impersonate another person; or use PetPulse unlawfully. Responsible fault reports are welcome through support.
9. Changes and availability
The candidate may change, reset, become unavailable or contain defects. Keep an independent copy of any genuinely important pet-care information. We may pause or end the internal test, restrict a test account to protect users or the service, or replace these terms before a later testing stage.
10. Privacy, responsibility and consumer rights
The PetPulse internal-test privacy notice explains the information handled, household sharing, providers, retention, deletion and data-protection rights.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded. Because no real-money purchase is authorised in this internal test, stop and contact support if Google Play presents a real charge or if any behaviour differs from the test flow described here.
11. Contact
Use PetPulse support for test problems and the privacy contact form for privacy or deletion requests. These internal terms will be replaced by separately reviewed public terms before any public paid release.
