Website terms
Last updated 25 August 2026
1. Using this website
These terms apply when you visit battlement-software.com. The website and the Battlement Software project are operated by Sam Kelly in England and Wales. Battlement Software is not currently a registered company or a separate legal entity.
By using the site, you agree to use it lawfully and in accordance with these terms. Product-specific terms will apply separately before a Battlement app accepts public accounts, subscriptions or purchases.
2. Content and intellectual property
The site and its original content, branding, design and code are owned by Sam Kelly or appropriately licensed for use by Battlement Software and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. You may view and print reasonable extracts for personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, republish, sell, scrape at scale or create misleading derivative materials without permission.
3. Acceptable use
You must not attempt to damage, overload, probe or gain unauthorised access to the site or related systems; introduce malicious code; interfere with another visitor; submit unlawful, abusive or deceptive material; or use automated systems in a way that materially disrupts the service.
4. Third-party services and links
The site may link to app stores, hosting providers or other third-party services. Those services operate under their own terms and privacy notices. A link does not mean we control or endorse everything on the destination site.
5. Information and availability
We aim to keep the site accurate and available, but it may sometimes be incomplete, unavailable or out of date. Product descriptions and “coming soon” information are provided for general information and may change before release. Nothing on this site is professional, medical or veterinary advice.
6. Our responsibility
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation. Subject to that, we are not responsible for indirect or unforeseeable loss arising solely from use of, or inability to use, this informational website.
7. Changes
We may change the site and these terms to reflect product, legal or operational developments. The revised version applies from the date shown above. Material changes will be made reasonably clear.
8. Applicable law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction, except where mandatory consumer law gives you the right to bring proceedings elsewhere.
Questions for the operator can be sent through the Battlement contact form.
